Ornament Globes
There are a total of 12 scenic ornaments, and you will need acrylic globes which are available at most craft stores. You will need 6 - 80mm globes and 6 - 100mm globes. If you do not have the luxury of a local craft store, then use the search string "80mm refillable acrylic ornament" (probably listed as a 3" globe) or "100mm refillable acrylic ornament" (probably listed as a 4" globe) for an on-line search and purchase. FDC Factory Direct Craft sells singles of the acrylic ornaments and they sell throughout the world. I am not associated with this company, I did purchased mine from FDC.

DISPLAY OPTION
These kits do not have to be ornaments, just place the scene with platform in one half of the ornament so the platform is flat on the table. This makes a great desktop display diorama and gift.

3-d STAGING ITEMS
Of course 3-d staging items are not included with the booklets. Such things as mini shoes, wine glasses, bottles and ribbons can be found on-line on such platforms as Ebay.com and Etsy.com.

Collections include:

1. Hitty Her First 100 Years by Rachel Field. All the book's illustrations and tag lines;

2. The Children’s Object Book,  published in England circa 1880. This is one of the more beautifully illustrated children's books I have ever seen; and,

3. A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens, includes full text and the original illustrations.

Hitty, Her First Hundred Years, is an award winning children's novel written by Rachel Field and published in 1929. The book is told from the point of view of a 6.25” wooden doll named Hitty (short for Mehitabel), carved by a peddler in the 1820s and has since traveled around the world. The story was inspired by an old doll purchased by Field. The doll currently resides at the Stockbridge Library Association in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

The narrative unfolds through the eyes of Hitty who was carved for a little girl, Phoebe Preble, who lives on Great Cranberry Island in Maine, during a winter when her father was away at sea.

The story tells of how Hitty is separated from Phoebe and ends up owned by many different people over an entire century, and who take her all over the world. At various times, she is lost at sea, hidden in a horsehair sofa, abandoned in a hayloft, is part of a snake-charmer's act, and picked up by the famous writer Charles Dickens. She eventually arrives at her new owner's summer home in Maine, which turns out to be the original Preble residence.

The book and doll are beloved by many who own reproductions of Hitty the doll. These admirers collect and make accessories specifically for staging Hitty’s adventures--which is the case here of my Paper Minis Hitty Digital Download paper craft kits.
